Meals on Wheels Needs Volunteer Cooks

Hudson’s own Meals on Wheels/Popote Roulante needs several volunteer cooks to work once a month on meal preparation.

Meals on Wheels/ Popotes Roulantes is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that prepares and delivers cooked meals to senior citizens who are unable to do it for themselves. Three course meals are prepared for about thirty clients on Tuesday and Friday mornings and delivered by noon. Clients are charged a nominal amount for the service. Food preparation is done at the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre. Volunteer drivers deliver the meals.
