These are hours that the Center may be reserved for activities and events.
If there are no activities booked (outside regular office hours), the Center will be closed.

Services:

The Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre is operated by the Town of Hudson and can be used on a rental basis for a wide range of functions and activities. Rental rates have been established for all areas of the Community Centre. These rates are charged to an individual, group or association for the use of a designated area on a specified date and time.

Recognizing the distinct types of user groups and individuals that have a need to use the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre, user classifications have been developed to provide areas on rental basis in a fair and equitable manner.

Six categories have been established:
(No charge if the group consists of a minimum of 70% Hudson residents)

- Resident/Personal (30% discount)
- Resident/Non-Personal (15% discount)
- Regional Groups (Reduction is based on % of Hudson residents)
- Non-Resident/Commercial (100% of the rate applies)
- Weddings (Rates differ for residents and non-residents)

The Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre offers a variety of services, facilities and programs.

Community Centre Facilities

Main Hall: - 13.41 x 18.29 meters (44 feet x 60 feet)
- Seats up to 200 for a reception
- Seats up to 300 for a meeting
- Cloak Room
- Full kitchen
- Bar services available

Youth Center: - 13.41 x 18.29 meters (44 feet x 60 feet)
- Used mainly for pre-school, pre-teen and teen activities.
- Can be rented for youth parties.
