Sandy Beach The Sandy Beach Nature Park spans from the Town’s Marina (construction to begin spring 2008) all the way along the Ottawa River through a diverse trail network to the beach. The trail network crosses three different landscapes. At first the path wanders through a mature forest, marked by the presence of the Vivery Creek. After crossing the creek the sites of a flood plain come into view with a observation platform overseeing a flood area or tall grass depending on the season. The path then continues along to a full view of the lake from the lookout. While walking the trail one is likely to encounter the many animal species that inhabit the area including, fox, beavers, ducks, herons, fish and deer. The Sandy Beach Nature Park has already become a major
hub of activity within the town of Hudson used by both residents and tourists
the area is an absolute natural wonder within the city.
