The Town of Hudson’s Urban Planning Department is responsible
for the enforcement of municipal Urban Planning By-Laws. All interventions related
to planning and development are analyzed by this department in cooperation with
elected officials and the Town Planning Advisory Committee (TPAC) composed of
citizens, elected officials and municipal officers.
It issues building, renovation, swimming pool, subdivision permits as well as
authorisation certificates for tree cutting and shore works, amongst others.
The department intervenes when complaints are received pertaining to the application
of by-laws (nuisances, high grass, pesticides, building without a permit, etc.). |
